Polyvinyl acetate is a component of a widely used glue type, like glue sticks or wood glue. It is dissolvable in water, which makes it very safe to experiment with. It’s typically used as support material for PLA 3D Prints. I discovered that it can be hard to print with, because it doesn’t stick very to build plates very well. Be sure to don’t print PVA too hot, because it can turn into tar and jamm your extruder.
Dissolving PVA is as easy as putting your print in a glass of water for a while, like in this example from 3Dee.
